GERARDO GAYTAN - TenorMexican-born tenor Gerardo Gaytan started to study voice professionally in 2012 and has been active ever since. Singing has taken Gerardo to some of the most important stages in Mexico and the United States, presenting concerts and recitals. He has sung roles such as Rodolfo, Manrico, Edgardo, Canio, Cavaradossi, Alfredo, and the Duke of Mantua. Currently, he resides in San Diego and is a student of Bill Shuman in New York. Recent engagements include Rigoletto with Opera Southern, Pagliacci with Opera de Tijuana, Carmen and La Traviata with Pacific Lyric Association, and Tosca with South Coast Symphony. < back |
